when it rains...it pours.
Time to go.
I totally second the pumpkin. yum.
This is great!!!
Ok, I gotta start my ‘day off’ by visiting my coffee place… nowhere near as cool as this one…. but it’s mine. lol. I don’t eat the treats, but if I wanted one, I would definitely have the carrot cake or ginger cookies…. OR peanut butter cookies DAMN! And anything pumpkin related.
yikes….hungry.
JACKS- my favorite coffee shop on the planet,( and i know them all and worldwide since yours truly quit the sauce)…..
and this is Jack, He is such a powerhouse of kindness. The kind of guy that shakes the hell out of your hand, warm and so friendly he just disarms anyone, even me, and i am hella shy in the a.m.
He runs this great great coffee house in the village. I’d tell you what street but I don’t want more competition for the warm cookies and the amazing (saprasceno (sp?) espresso shots they make. They have kosher scones and amazing blueberry peach muffins and oreo cookies over-sized even.
I made them a painting for their wall of patrons (how nice is that eh- pictures of regulars on the wall, totally home-down and awesome)- my painting was awful but they were nice and put it up.
Anyway this is the first place I see every morning when I am home from touring. I love touring but I love being home now as much. My new job also makes me feel at home too.
I think I am learning a lot about being okay with just being me lately. I got weird for a second, and shy, and dark, but sometimes singing about that stuff and also how i choose to sort of slip into the character of where I was at the time, I think it makes me a little heavy.
So it’s so wonderful to come home to such forgiving sweet people like the people at Jack’s and at my new job.
Thank goodness!
